First things first, welcome to the family! We're filled with excitement as we gear up for the season, the anticipation is real!
Let's take a moment to give a huge shoutout to our incredible committee team. Their dedication and passion are the driving
force behind everything we do.
We truly appreciate their hard work in making this season epic for all of us!

2025 TEAMS ARE Full
We are still taking registrations for 4-6yrs old boys and girls, and 7-8yr old girls.
Wondering which team you or your child will be on? Fear not!
Our dedicated committee members and volunteers are working
tirelessly to ensure everyone finds their perfect fit. Your coach will
reach out soon to fill you in on all the details, from training schedules
to game days.
TRAINING & GAME DATES:
Teams are decided for Juniors & Youth depending on the age they will
be in the 2024 season i.e. if they are 8 years old, they will play 8th Grade.
If you or your child selected to play in the same team as last season, we
will place all the players together in the team, if you have selected to
change teams, we will find you a new team in the same grade to play in
for 2024, if you are new we will try and find the team that suits the player’s needs.
What team am I (or my child in)?
While there are still registrations coming in, committee members
and volunteers are working hard in the background to get everyone
into teams. Once you have been assigned a team your coach will be in
touch to introduce themselves and fill you in on training days, games
days and times. We aim to get this information to by mid-March.
Where is training?
We will be back at Te Poi Starling Park from the 1st of April but can start trainings in March as soon as our Teams are confirmed. If you coach a
team that is staying together, we have some preseason training facilities available on Thursday & Friday, just reach out to us and we can get you
more information.
When are the games?
If there are any changes to game and training times your coach will be in touch with you.
UNIFORMS:
For the 2025 season ALL [see below for girls 9th grade up] players from
6th grade to 12th Grade will need to purchase a playing shirt from our
online shop. As a bonus a portion of your purchase directly supports
the club to get more equipment! Explore our online shop for all your
player and supporter needs.
This season we have been awarded a Grant for our Girls in Football.
Part one of this is getting them in our stunning purple kits just like our
Senior Womens team the Swans. These shirts will be loaned out to the
girls for the 2025 season.
At RSFC, we believe football should be for everyone so we try and keep
our fees low and support you in as many ways as we can! We try our best
to make it easy for you to jump right into the action, but our tiny team of volunteers can only do so much with our time & the funds we receive.
Need boots? We've got you covered with community-donated pairs
available, looking for 2nd hand playing gear? just join our Buy/sell/trade Facebook group to share the love and grab a deal on pre loved gear
We play in plain black socks and black shorts which players will need to provide. Shin pads and boots are COMPULSORY for all games for your safety. We often have boots that have been donated by the community
that you can use for the season so please don’t hesitate to ask to see if
we have any in your size.
COACHES & MANAGERS:
These are the most important and rewarding positions in our club!
If you want to put your hand up for these positions for yours or your
child’s team please reach out to us. We also offer FREE coaching & refereeing courses hosted at our club as well as all the kit and other resources you need. So don’t be shy, just have a chat with one of our
team so give it a go, we promise you won’t regret it.
CANTEEN TEAM:
On game days who doesn’t love a carton of hot chips on a chilly morning?
If you can volunteer even a few hours over the season that would be awesome! You don’t need to have done this before as we can offer you training to get you started.
SPONSORSHIP:
We are always looking for people or businesses that can offer financial
help to our amazing club! If you can help, or know of a business that can,
we would love to hear from you. This can be as small as sponsoring a
player for the season that might not be able to afford fees and kit, sponsoring a whole team, donating prizes for our quiz nights & other fundraisers, donating products for the canteen, or sponsorship to the
club in general. Please reach out so we can meet.
Rānui Swanson FC is a community-based club and as such we really need your help! If you can help please reach out to Lisa.
